Sound the alarm, calling all Firefighters!!
I’m sharing my son’s Fireman Birthday party today. To say my son likes Firetrucks is an understatement, he LOVES them so it was a given that we threw him a Fireman birthday party this year. He squeals with excitement every time one passes us on the roads.
All photography was by Five Whimsy Lane
Starting with the invite, I made it double sided and printed at Staples to send out to our guests. You can find this in my shop
As guests entered, they were greeted with the table set up.
Fireman plates were from Oriental Trading Co. Many of the items I used throughout the party were from Oriental Trading Co. They have such an array of choices for a Fireman theme. I added place cards with the kids names and a cute napkin wrap printable.
I added printable straw flags to the Hydrant cups that said, “Stop, drop and Roll”.
I set up a Photo Booth and added some props like the Chief Hat and some Fireman related printables. The Brick Backdrop was also from Oriental Trading Co.
Dessert station was a huge hit of course, isn’t it always? In staying with the theme, I used “Buckets of Water”, Burning buildings and the CAKE, omg!! Nora Bee Cakes & Sweets did an incredible job on creating this design for my son. Everyone loved it!
Buckets of water to put out those fires! I put blue cotton candy in tiny galvanized buckets, then added a tiny printable.
How cool are these Burning Buildings! These were chocolate rice krispies
The cake was so cool. My son’s eyes about popped out of his head. Nora Bees
did such an amazing job right down to the smallest details to include a license plate on the back.
Chocolate covered Oreos. Some with flames, 4 and a fireman Hat. Aren’t they so cute?!
CO2 Cake pops for those Fire Extinguishers
I found these Cupcake towers on Oriental Trading Co. I added some printable flames to them to make them look like a burning building.
For the Favor station, items included, badges, tattoos, truck erasers, stickers and fire extinguishers (Water guns). All were from Oriental Trading Co. except the erasers.
Badges for the tiny Firefighters
These were Squirt guns that were Fire Extinguishers
Fire truck favor boxes for the kids to take their sweets home in.
Showing off his Tattoo
The big surprise came when we heard the sirens coming from outside. The kids rushed to see and a Fire truck was there. (we did have some neighbors come out thinking there was really a fire, lol) We hired Smokey’s Fire Truck Events and the kids loved this. They gave the kids a ride around the neighborhood, taught the kids a lil bit about the truck and let the kids use a fire extinguisher to spray off a fire hat off a dummy. They had a blast doing it.
