Skylar's Shabby Chic Butterfly Birthday

I'm so excited to announce my reopen of my etsy shop and to be able to share with you this new line "SHABBY CHIC BUTTERFLIES".

Luckily, while I was away, I did get a chance to make one party happen and that would be for my daughter.  She really loves butterflies and I wanted something soft & pretty so I came up with this theme.

So first things first, the invitations..

The Dessert Table which was filled with Gumballs, Cotton Candy, Rock Candy, Butterfly Cookies, Cake Push Pops, Strawberry Whoppers, Yogurt Covered Pretzels, Cupcakes with edible butterflies and the kids drinks.

The frames on the fence are wood frames from a local craft store.  I painted them, added fabric to the backs and glued on butterflies I also bought at a local craft store.  I loved them so much, I'm going to put them in my daughter's room.

I loved these custom made cookies from "Serendipitous Sweets".  They were a big hit and just Delicious!

Fabulous edible butterflies from "incrEDIBLE Toppers"

I made this garland which was strung with cut butterflies and folded doilies.
Close up of the "Happy Birthday Skylar" banner.
I found this great dresser at a thrift store and I had to buy it.  It was already painted turquoise too, which was fantastic!  The dresser made a great display for the kids take home bags. These were filled with all things bugs related and color coordinated for boys & girls.

The Pinata was made out of paper mache and crete paper flowers.  It took me 3 days to make the flowers and about a hour to glue them on the paper mache ball I had constructed.

The centerpieces on the tables had rustic watering cans and butterflies
The Birthday girl digging into the Dessert table says it all!
All invitations, Banners, favor tags, drink tags, etc. are on my website: Just a little Sparkle
